They have four restaurants – two each in Chatham and Windsor.

“We were looking for a fresh concept – just like a back-to-the basics concept,” adds Bobby.

Video Highlights Ontario Corn Fed Beef Tour

Another successful barbecue tour featuring the Ontario Corn Fed Beef mobile kitchen was held this summer. Ontario Corn Fed Beef, Canada Beef and Loblaw Companies Ltd. teamed up for the “Ultimate Learn to Cook Steak Truck Tour” that featured sampling events for consumers.

In addition to promoting the brand throughout the province, the tour was aimed at helping to increase the consumption of more beef cuts. Joyce Parslow, Director of Consumer Marketing for Canada Beef, was on hand to show people how to take advantage of value priced cuts like blade roast.

The featured recipe was pulled-beef on a bun that was done in a slow cooker using some of the President’s Choice barbecue sauces.

Check out this video that captures what the tour was all about. It was shot at the Zehrs store in south Cambridge.    http://youtu.be/J8xSzGta-Lo
