Promotions featuring Ontario Corn Fed Beef at home and overseas are highlighted in the Summer 2018 edition of The News Feed. In April, we were pleased to team up with a new retail partner in Japan. Lion D’or is a retail chain in Fukushima Prefecture (Province) that includes 76 outlets in the north-central part of the country.
The profile of the Ontario Corn Fed Beef program got a boost from two promotions in the United Arab Emirates. OCFB was featured in a month-long promotion in April at The Club in Abu Dhabi. The second promotion was at the Media Rotana Hotel in Dubai where the luxury, five-star hotel featured Ontario Corn Fed Beef at two of its restaurants, Prego’s and Nelson’s.
Closer to home, our program was thrilled to be featured in Bell Media’s “Fields to Forks” series. The stories shine a brighter light on the agriculture sector in Southwestern Ontario and the people who make it come alive.
In addition to these stories, the issue also features a preview of the Canadian Beef Industry Conference, which is coming to London, Ont. for the first time in August.
